Full name 'Abd Allah ibn 'Uthman ibn Amir ibn Amru ibn Ka'ab ibn Sa'ad ibn Taim ibn Murrah ibn Ka'ab ibn Lu'ai ibn Ghalib ibn Fihr al-Quraishi at-Taimi.
Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (Abdallah ibn Abi Quhafa) (Arabic: أبو بكر الصديق or عبد الله بن أبي قحافة; Transliteration: Abū Bakr aṣ-Ṣiddīq or 'Abdullāh bin Abī Quhāfah, c. 573 CE – 23 August 634/13 AH) was an early person to convert to Islam and a senior companion (Sahaba) of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.). Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) conferred on him the title Siddiq,the veracious ,for his power to discern the truth. Upon Prophet Muhammad's (P.B.U.H.) death he became the first Muslim ruler (632–634), regarded in Islam as the first of the Rashidun (righteously guided Caliphs). His caliphate lasted two years and three months, during which time he consolidated the Muslim state. He also conquered the lands of Syria and Iraq.
