Being upon the salaf refers to practicing your religion the way the prophet Muhammad (sa) and his companions did. Simply by referring yourself as being upon the salaf does not mean you are practicing the religion in the correct way, as being upon the salaf is shown through ones actions. We need to be Muslim in actions not just words. May Allah keep us all upon the sunnah, and let us be with the Prophet Muhammad (sa) and his companions in the Jannah.Ameen
