Are You Going Through Hardships In Life?

Allah says (in the interpretation of the meaning): `Certainly, We shall test you with fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits; but give glad tidings to the patient - those who, when afflicted with calamity say, `Truly to Allah we belong, and truly to Him shall we return.` It is those who will be awarded blessings and mercy from their Lord; and it is those who are the guided ones.` [Surah Baqarah, 2:155-157]

SubhaanAllah, The life of this world is nothing but a Big Test, one after another... but the believer stays strong and never gives up. The Believer shows gratitude and thankfulness for all the wonderful blessings Allah gives him and displays patience and submission during sickness and hardships, hunger, or other afflictions.

O My Muslims, Never give up, remain patient and know your reward is with Allah, To Him we belong and surely to Him is our Return.

And whatever the Messenger gives you, take it. And whatever he forbids, abstain from it. And keep your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is severe in punishment. [Surah al-Hashr: 7]

Hadith: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks, and the use of musical instruments as lawful. And (from them), there will be some who will stay near the side of a mountain, and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, Return to us tomorrow. Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and Allah will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection. (Sahih Bukhaari)

In general Music is forbidden in Islaam, except for the use of the Daff (one sided tambourine without the bells) for certain occasions.

It is not for a believing man nor a believing women, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter, to have the choice in their affair; and whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has surely gone astray in manifest error. (33:36)

Ayatul Kursi recited by Saad Ghamidi with hadeeth.

It is reported that Abu Umamah said: The Messenger of Allah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) said: ʾʾWhoever recites Ayatul-Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.ʾʾ (Reported by An-Nasaʾi and Ibn Hibban)

اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ~َ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لاَ تَأْخُذُه ُُ سِنَة ٌ وَلاَ نَوْم ٌ لَه ُُ مَا فِ
السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ~ُ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِه ِِ يَعْلَمُ مَا
بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلاَ يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْء ٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ~ِ إِلاَّ بِمَا شَاءَ
وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَلاَ يَئُودُه ُُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

Allahu la ilaha illa huwa alhayyu alqayyoomu la takhuthuhu sinatun wala nawmun lahu ma fee assamawati wama fee alardi man tha allathee yashfaAAu AAindahu illa biithnihi yaAAlamu ma bayna aydeehim wama khalfahum wala yuheetoona bishayin min AAilmihi illa bima shaa wasiAAa kursiyyuhu assamawati walarda wala yaooduhu hifthuhuma wahuwa alAAaliyyu alAAatheem

Allah! There is no god but He, the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Footstool/Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).

It is reported that Talq b. Habib said, `A man came to Abu Darda and said to him, `O Abu Darda, your house has burned.` He said: `No, it cannot be burned. Allah will never allow this to happen because of the words that I heard from the Prophet, peace be upon him. Whoever says these words in the beginning of a day, the Prophet, peace be upon him, told us, will not be afflicted by a misfortune until the end of the day, and whoever says these words in the evening will not be afflicted until morning. These words are, `O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You, I put my trust in You, You are the Lord of the Mighty Throne. Whatever Allah wills will happen and what He does not will, cannot happen. There is no power or strength except with Allah, the Exalted, the Mighty. I know that Allah has power over all things, and Allah comprehends all things in knowledge. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of myself and from the evil of all creatures under Your control. Surely the straight way is my Sustainer`s way```

In some versions of this hadith we further find that he said, ‘‘Come, let us go. So he went with them to his house. They found all the area surrounding the house burned but his house was not damaged.
